“I have been exercising for a few years now but have always struggled with weight loss. I needed guidance on nutrition and the correct way to manage my eating habits. I have always been the first one to binge eat on weekends and man if I had a horrible day at work watch me eat an entire slab of chocolate without thinking twice. I had enough of this self destruction and feeling like a marshmallow. I knew I needed to make changes for me, not others (including my husband) because I first needed to full my own cup.
I found LFF on IG, did some research and saw al the amazing stories and testimonies being shared. Women all over our country, women from al shapes and sizes telling their stories. Coming together to lift each other up and stand together in many struggles we face as women everyday, physically but mentally too. Last but not least, a library of sustainable meal options, not just a piece of pale fish and broccoli.
I realised that food is not bad and that the culture of the less you eat and starve yourself the better, IS NOT TRUE! You can eat a healthy meal and still enjoy what you are eating. I have also realised that you must want to change and dismiss your negative thoughts because you deserve so much more and can do so much more than you think you can.
